Conceived, planned and implemented by DirectionGroup, the Plantronics Channel Partner event 2011 took place in Valencia, with the aim of delivering hot Plantronics news and views to a highly esteemed audience of over 180 Channel Partners from around EMEA.
The event was meticulously planned to deliver on a fine balance of work and fun. The 2 day event encompassed a meet and greet of delegates in the afternoon plus dinner with entertainment on the first night – cocktails and stilt walkers, and the second day brought presentations, regional meetings and finally a grand gala dinner to the mix.
DirectionGroup instructed and managed the logistics team – from sourcing location, travel, accommodation, catering, to hire of equipment as well as organising presentations for Plantronics staff. It was also important to consider the different languages spoken by our delegates, so translators and booths were set up for a further 5 language options. An online booking microsite was set up for flight details, dietary requirements, hotel accommodation, workshop presentation choices and more.
Attendance at the event was high, resulting in a ‘Plantronics Care’ feel, which resonated well with the channel partners, enabling them to understand more about Plantronics and the benefits of its products.
